Shave the area within 24 hours of your session — but don’t wax, pluck, or thread for at least four weeks, because the laser needs the follicle in place. Keep the area out of direct sun and off self-tanner for two weeks before treatment. We’ll confirm all of it in your prep instructions.
During
You’ll wear protective eyewear while your provider moves the handpiece across the area in steady passes. Each pulse feels like a quick snap of warmth, softened immediately by the built-in cooling burst. Small areas take about fifteen minutes; larger areas up to an hour.
After
Your skin may look lightly flushed for a few hours — most clients go straight back to their day. For the next day or two: gentle skincare, no hot tubs or heavy workouts, and diligent SPF on any treated area that sees the sun. Treated hairs shed on their own over the following one to two weeks. Your provider sends you home with full prep-and-aftercare instructions tailored to the area treated.
