Microneedling
in Hallandale Beach
Candela Exceed® · With ToskaniMED, VAMP, or your own PRF · Performed by a board-certified nurse practitioner, physician-supervised · Hallandale Beach, FL
Microneedling uses a pen with six fine needles to make thousands of tiny, controlled channels in the skin. The skin repairs them with fresh collagen, so texture smooths, pores look smaller, and acne marks and fine lines soften over a short series. At Bogat it is performed on the Candela Exceed, with ToskaniMED cocktails, VAMP, or your own PRF applied to the skin during the treatment.

Why Clients Choose Bogat for Microneedling
Depth Set for Your Skin, in Tenths of a Millimeter
The Exceed pen adjusts needle depth in 0.1 mm steps, with several speeds, and both are set at your consultation. Thin skin near the eyes, thicker cheek skin, and a scar get three different settings on the same face.
The Solution Used With It Is Your Choice
During the treatment, as the pen works across the skin, Bogat applies one of three things: a ToskaniMED cocktail matched to your concern, VAMP, a vitamin-and-amino-acid solution, or PRF from your own blood. Your specialist recommends one at the consultation.
Medical Oversight and Clear Expectations
Bogat is a physician-supervised practice, and microneedling is planned as a course with a purpose. Before anything is booked, you hear what it can improve, what it cannot, and how many sessions it takes.

How Microneedling Works
Collagen keeps skin firm and smooth, and the body makes less of it with age. Microneedling makes thousands of tiny, controlled injuries that the skin repairs with fresh collagen along each channel.
The Exceed pen holds six fine needles that move in and out rapidly as it glides across the skin. Depth is set by area: shallow for fine lines and pores, deeper for acne marks.
During the treatment, as the pen creates the channels, Bogat applies ToskaniMED cocktails, VAMP, or PRF prepared from your own blood. The choice is made at your consultation and is described below.
For clients who need additional skin tightening or more advanced scar treatment, Bogat also offers RF microneedling using a different device. This treatment combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen deeper within the skin.
Microneedling on the Candela Exceed
The Exceed is a medical microneedling pen. It is FDA-cleared for the treatment of facial wrinkles and to improve the appearance of facial acne scars. Its six sterile, single-use needles move at up to 150 insertions per second.
Depth settings in 0.1 mm steps, chosen by area. The Exceed adjusts needle depth in precise 0.1 mm increments, from 0.1 mm to 1.5 mm, so each area gets a surface pass or the deeper settings used for acne marks. Your specialist changes depth and speed from forehead to cheeks to chin, so each area gets what it needs and no more.
What Microneedling Treats
What Bogat treats with the pen, and how each concern is planned.
Texture and Pores
Rough or uneven skin and enlarged pores on the nose, cheeks, and chin. Shallow, dense passes smooth the surface and tighten the skin around each pore, often within two to four weeks.
Acne Marks and Scars
Post-acne marks and shallow pitted scars. Deeper settings prompt the skin to rebuild the base of the scar, so scars become shallower and softer over a series, improved rather than removed. Deeper scars are sometimes moved to RF microneedling.
Fine Lines and Dull Skin
Early lines around the eyes and mouth, and skin that looks tired or uneven, with ToskaniMED cocktails or PRF chosen for brightness and hydration.
Neck and Décolleté
Crepey texture and sun damage on the neck and chest, treated with settings for thinner skin, usually in the same visit as the face.
Body Areas
Stretch marks, scars, and textured skin on the abdomen, arms, thighs, back, knees, and hands. Priced by the size of the area: small (knees, hands, a small scar), medium (arms, abdomen), large (thighs, back).
Hair and Scalp
Thinning hair, treated on the scalp with a hair-specific ToskaniMED cocktail or your own PRF. Planned as a series; results are gradual.
Not Sure What Your Skin Needs?
A complimentary consultation looks at your skin under good light and names the concern that would improve most. You leave with a written plan: sessions, spacing, add-on, and price.

What Goes On Your Skin During Treatment
ToskaniMED Cocktails, Matched to Your Concern
ToskaniMED is a medical-grade line of sterile serums, and Bogat stocks a range. There are firming formulas for skin that has lost bounce, antioxidant formulas for sun-exposed skin, and hyaluronic acid formulas for dryness and fine lines. There are also brightening formulas for uneven tone and post-acne marks, a calming formula for oily or breakout-prone skin, and a hair cocktail for the scalp.
VAMP, a Vitamin and Amino-Acid Solution
VAMP is a sterile skin-revitalizing solution made by Prollenium: 11 vitamins, 12 amino acids, 6 minerals, and PDRN, a molecule used to support skin repair. It suits dull, tired, or dehydrated skin that wants an all-round boost. VAMP comes in sterile vials and is not made from your blood.
PRF, From Your Own Blood
Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) starts with a small blood draw at Bogat. The sample is spun to concentrate the platelets and growth factors, then applied to the skin during the treatment, as the channels are made. It is chosen for acne marks, thinning hair, and anyone who wants nothing but their own material on their skin.
A note on all three
Microneedling devices are FDA-cleared for the needling itself, not for delivering serums, vitamin solutions, or blood products into the skin. The add-ons are part of how Bogat performs the treatment, chosen with you, and are not a cleared use of the device.
Is Microneedling Right for You?
Microneedling suits concerns on or just under the surface: texture, pores, acne marks, early fine lines, dullness, or thinning hair. If you can see it in a mirror at rest and it has been there a while, it is worth a consultation.
Some concerns benefit from a different approach. If your primary concern is loose or sagging skin, deeper acne scars, or more advanced signs of aging, RF microneedling may be a better option. It combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen deeper within the skin, improve firmness, tighten the skin, and remodel deeper scars. Volume loss that creates folds is often best addressed with dermal fillers, while dynamic wrinkles caused by repeated facial expressions are typically treated with Botox® or other neuromodulators.
Your consultation says which category you are in, and a different treatment is a normal answer.
Settings are adjusted for every skin tone, with a more conservative first session in deeper skin tones and strict sun avoidance afterward.
We postpone or decline treatment if you:
- are pregnant or breastfeeding
- have an active infection, cold sore, or open lesion in the area, or active inflammatory acne
- have taken isotretinoin (Accutane) in the past six months
- have a history of keloid or raised scarring
- take blood thinners or have a bleeding disorder (physician review first)
- have a condition that slows healing, or a suppressed immune system
- have a tan or sunburn in the area
- had filler or Botox in the area within the past two weeks
- are being treated for skin cancer, or had radiation, in the area
Three stages, from the consultation to the first few days.
The Consultation and the Two Weeks Before
Your specialist examines your skin, chooses the add-on, sets the depth for each area, and writes the plan with sessions and price. Bogat’s printed pre-care and aftercare sheet covers the rest: no sun or self-tanner for two weeks before, no retinoids or acids for five to seven days. Tell us if you get cold sores so an antiviral can be prescribed, and arrive with clean skin and no makeup.
In the Treatment Room
Numbing cream sits for about 20 minutes; if you chose PRF, your blood is drawn and spun while you numb. Your specialist then glides the pen across each area at its own depth. Most people feel a light scratching or vibration, more on the forehead and around the mouth, and the ToskaniMED cocktail, VAMP, or PRF is applied as the pen works across each area.
The First Few Days
You leave pink to red, like a mild sunburn, and for most people it settles over 24 to 48 hours. Makeup and exercise are fine after 24 hours, and the skin may feel dry for a few days. Keep the sun off it for two weeks.

What your total depends on
Three things set the price of a course: the area treated, which solution is used with it (ToskaniMED cocktails, VAMP, or your own PRF), and the number of sessions. Every price above is per session, and most first courses are three to four sessions. Your consultation gives you the course total in writing, and that is the price you pay.
What the price includes
The complimentary consultation and skin assessment, numbing, and the full treatment on the Candela Exceed with depth and speed set for your skin. Also your add-on (including the blood draw for PRF), written aftercare, and a healing check at each following session. Body prices include the body serum for the area.
Prices effective September 2026 and subject to change. VIP member rates are 10%, 15% and 20% below the Standard price, rounded up to the next whole dollar. Each visit is priced at the member rate before your banked credit is applied.
Results and How Long They Last
The first change is a fresher, more even surface within a few days, once the pinkness settles. Texture, pores, and acne marks keep improving over the following weeks as new collagen forms along each channel, and full results usually take several months.
Each session adds to the last, so microneedling is planned as a series, four to six weeks apart. One session gives a glow; the series gives the result.
Results fade as your skin loses that collagen again, and people lose it at different rates, so a maintenance session about once a year is common. Microneedling does not erase a scar or stop time; it leaves skin smoother, brighter, and more even, and upkeep keeps it there.
Safety and Side Effects
Microneedling is a medical procedure, and Bogat treats it that way: sterile single-use cartridges, a clean field, and depth set by area. Expected effects are redness, warmth, mild swelling, pinpoint bleeding during treatment, and dry or flaky skin for a few days. These usually clear on their own.
Other possible effects are dark marks (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation), a small bruise, a temporary breakout, or redness lasting more than two days. Dark marks are more likely with sun exposure and in deeper skin tones, which is why sun avoidance afterward is the most important rule.
Infection, scarring, a cold-sore outbreak in people who get them, and a reaction to what is applied during the treatment are also possible. The pre-treatment checklist and the add-on choice are there to lower the chance of these. Tell your specialist about any ingredient sensitivities so the right option can be chosen for you.
If redness spreads, the area becomes more painful or hot, or you see blistering, pus, or a rash, call Bogat the same day.
Microneedling in Year-Round Sun
Year-round UV. No tan or sunburn at your appointment; avoid direct sun for two weeks after, and wear mineral SPF 30+ daily from day one. Sun on healing skin raises the risk of dark marks.
Heat and humidity. No sweaty workouts for 24 hours; saunas, pools, and the ocean wait until the skin is fully closed, usually 24–48 hours.
Event timing. Book at least two weeks before an event, so the skin has usually had time to settle.
Treatments That Pair Well With Microneedling
Biologique Recherche Facial
A Biologique Recherche facial is built around your skin on the day, so it keeps the surface clear and conditioned between microneedling sessions. Book it before you start a series, or once the skin has settled between sessions.
Botox & Wrinkle Relaxers
Microneedling rebuilds the skin; Botox softens the lines that movement creates. Two weeks apart, either order.
HydraFacial
Hydration and clarity between sessions; book it a week or more before, or two weeks after, a treatment.
Chemical Peels
Surface tone and pigment work that alternates with microneedling sessions in the same season.
